Matt walked into the library, black jansport one shoulder bag over his shoulder. He slipped his sunglasses off and hooked them onto his shirt, then pulled the brim of his favorite baseball cap down even further on top of his head. It was a habit of his. He sighed and walked forward, his adidas sneakers squeaking slightly. He picked up his feet more so he wouldn't make as much noise and then soon sat at an empty table. He wore boot legged jeans that were slightly faded and a navy sweater type shirt that framed his well muscled body. But he didn't really care about his looks, he just wanted to do well in life, and do as much as he could before his time was up. He grabbed about ten books about cancer, and started taking notes and studying them carefully.

Nicole was sat in the library, studying. So, it wasn't exactly like her to be studying but she was so bored at this place, it seemed her only option! She looked around when someone walked in, watching him as he sat down near her table. She leaned forwards over her book, resting her head on her hand and her elbow on the table. She wrote a few notes, in her workbook in her neat, girly handwriting and looked up again at the guy, just sort of studying him. She let out a loud sigh, not really caring if it was meant to be quiet and went back again to reading her book. She flicked the pen she was holding against her perfectly white teeth, making a lod clickig noise.
Suddenly, the top of the pen flew off and hit this guy that had just come in off the head. She let out a small laugh, trying to hold in her giggles as she looked up at him, pulling her hair further over her eyes, hoping he wouldn't know it was her.

Just as he had turned the page and was on an important part, he felt something hit him in the head. He flinched slightly and looked around for what had hit him, hwen he heard a laugh. He saw the girl and furrowed his brow, then looked towards the floor. A pen cap. And her pen was missing a pack. Turning back around and bending down, he grabbed it and stood up. Grinning slightly, he handed it back to her. You've got good aim..if that was what you were aiming for... He joked and then watched her a moment. SHe was cute, he had to admit, but he kept that to himself. Right now, he would play calm and collected.

Nicole looked up, a smile creeping across her face as she put down her pen. Wow! He was hot! Bu, anyways, she hadn't meant to hit him! The pen lid just, well, flew off! "Sorry, I didn't mean to get you!" She said giggling quietly again. She put her head down again, her hair covering her face once more. Yeah, she was slightly embarrassed! She looked up again, the smile still on her face. "Well, I don't know I wasn't aiming for anything!" She replied, kind of glad he wasn't being mean about it, it was an accident after all!

He held his breathtaking smile and shook his head. It's alright..I don't think you meant it.. He joked and then looked back at his stuff on the table. He hoped she wouldn't notice the topic, because that would involve too much explanation and he might give something away. Which is not what he wanted to do. He grinned. Well, you aimed for my head pretty well. He grinned and then waited for her reply.

Nicole shook her head, "No, I wasn't aiming, but I guess I have a good aim, if you say so!" She said with a grin. She looked back down at her books, reading what she had written. It didn't make sense! She crossed it out neatly and wrote it over, glancing back up at the guy as he was still stood next to her. "Is there something you want?" She asked, frowning but in a nice way to show she wasn't being mean.

The doors of the library softly closed as a girl slipped through. She sighed with content, now in this place of silence and tranquility. It just seemed so relaxed! Moving to the nearest shelf, she skimmed over the books until she found a Nancy Drew. Most people think she is childish, reading little chapter books. But, in reality, she loved to kick back and enjoy her reading for once. Pulling one of the books from the shelf, she plopped into an overstuffed arm chair.
